My District's Choices
My district is utilizing a SIF tool called Identity Manager from Novell. This tool replicates the data and can be disseminated to the other software packages the district currently uses. It is not a true SIF Zone product. This data needs to be updated by a tech person usually nightly. We have a person in charge of Data Management and this position was recently created to manage Student data, Staffing data, Testing data, Reporting data. PIMS-- Reporting to PDE on district data.
